If you are like most people, you’ve no doubt experienced many occasions where you have been measured by your strengths and weaknesses.
School reports and employment reviews are only a few of the areas that gleefully focus on our weaknesses as a way of asserting control. Apparently if we don’t fix these weaknesses, then we won’t be able to “get a good job” or “do our job well” or “run a successful business”.
Frankly this is a bunch of crock!
School teachers and employers would have more high achievers and potential money makers if they actually capitalised on strengths instead of weaknesses. By putting people into roles and situations where their natural strengths can excel, will create constant ‘win win’ situations for all parties – resulting in great business people & leaders.
So please do me a favour…dust off your list of strengths and weaknesses, then do the following:
Weakness list: Match up with complementary partnerships to counter balance your weaknesses!
Strengths list: Become great by improving your strengths even more!
Often the mind can draw a blank when it comes to identifying your own strengths.
You may be asking yourself…”what are my strengths?”, “how do I go about finding my strengths?” and “how do I make these my business strengths?”. These vital questions need addressing, so lets cover that in the next blog post.

Thank you for your comment. I have so many projects on the go this last month that I haven’t yet had a chance to write part 2 of this blog post! Soon hopefully!
